Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY Dr. Fruchtman graduated from The State University of New York in 1985. He then attended and graduated from the State University of New York College of Optometry with honors in contact lenses.

Upon graduation, Dr. Fruchtman went into practice with his father Dr. Jack Fruchtman from June 1990 until April 1997. After moving to New Jersey he opened Ridgedale Family Eye Care in April 1997 where he now practices full time. He has been a consultant for the Helen Keller Institute as well as University Hospital.

He is also an affiliate Optometric Physician for the TLC Laser Center. Dr. Fruchtman participates in many free health screenings throughout the community as well as the local school system.

The thing he enjoys most about his profession is be able to improve the quality life of his patients by providing superior eye care. When not treating patients Dr. Fruchtman can be found spending time with his wife Donna and daughters Hannah and Talia. He also enjoys golf, cycling and tennis.

Dr. Fruchtman attends over 30 class hours of continuing education courses per year to ensure he is up to date on the latest research and technology.

Dr. Beneski joined Ridgedale Family Eye Care in December of 2014. She began her studies at Millersville University, attending through a volleyball scholarship and graduating in three years with a B.S. in Biology, with a Pre-Optometry concentration.  She went on to Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, where she earned her second Bachelor’s degree in Visual Sciences and her Doctorate of Optometry.  During graduate school, Dr. Beneski studied across the nation, living in California, New Hampshire and Pennsylvania, before moving to Hoboken, NJ to complete a residency in Ocular Disease at Omni Eye services.

Dr.  Beneski is a member of the American Academy of Optometry and the New Jersey society of Optometric Physicians.  She has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of most eye diseases, including glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and pediatric binocular conditions, including Myopia Management. Through the fitting of specialty contact lenses, Dr. Beneski manages keratoconus and other corneal disorders. 

Dr. Beneski enjoys living in Mount Olive with her husband, daughter, and dog, Pierogi.  She fills her free time crafting and cooking, and most of all spending time with the ones she loves.
